ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Siyao Li
Founder of DiverseMind.ai.
I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Psychological Science. I also have ADHD, and the idea behind DiverseMind AI grew from my own experience.
When I started living independently in college, I realized that ADHD affected far more parts of everyday life than I had expected. Reading long passages, staying focused, keeping track of tasks, managing routines, and simply getting through everyday responsibilities could sometimes require much more effort than they seemed to require for other people.
Over time, I started experimenting with different ways to make things work better for my own brain—especially when it came to reading and processing information.
That experience eventually led to a simple question:
What if the tools we use could adapt to the way our minds work, instead of always asking us to adapt to them?
That question became part of the inspiration for DiverseMind AI.
DiverseMind is starting with reading: exploring more flexible ways to help people stay engaged with text, follow what they’re reading, and customize how information is presented.
It began with my own experience, but the larger idea is simple:

DiverseMind AI may have started from a personal experience, but bringing the idea to life has been a team effort.
Our team brings together different perspectives across product, design, engineering, marketing, research, and community outreach. From early conversations and user feedback to prototypes, design iterations, and countless small decisions along the way, each person has helped shape what DiverseMind is becoming.
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed their time, ideas, creativity, and energy to this journey. Building something from the ground up comes with uncertainty, experimentation, and plenty of changes along the way, and I deeply appreciate the people who chose to build, learn, and grow alongside me.
DiverseMind AI is still at the beginning, and there is much more to explore.
